S-HyNic Crosslinker

The S-HyNic (succinimidyl-6-hydrazino-nicotinamide) heterobifunctional crosslinker is fundamental to Chromaling. S-HyNic reacts with primary amines of proteins (amino group of glycine) or amino-modified oligonucleotides or surfaces, introducing a HyNic (6-hydrazinonicotinamide) linker that forms stable covalent conjugates with biomolecules possessing 4FB (4-formylbenzamide) incorporated linkers.

Di(N-succinimidyl) glutarate

Homobifunctional cross-linking reagent; e.g. isolation of insulin receptor

DSG is disuccinimidyl glutarate, a simple homobifunctional crosslinker builded on the amine-reactive N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester group at both sidws of a 7.7 angstrom spacer arm. It is used for crosslinking the amine moiety of several molecules. DSG is cell membrane-permeable and it is used in ChIP assays to determine DNA-protein binding interactions.

DSA

This molecule is an amine-reactive homobifunctional cross-linker. It rapidly attacks solvent accessible lysine-NH2 groups at neutral or slightly basic pH. DSA can generate additional structural information about protein structure while generally less often used than DSG or DSS.

DAPpNP from Synchem

p-Nitrophenyl 3-diazopyruvate

The heterobifunctional cross-linking agent p-nitrophenyl 3-diazopyruvate (DAPpNP) is used for the synthesis of photoaffinity probes and photoactivatable cross-linking agents that are nucleophile specific.
